Our China offices have been extremely busy this summer with the signing of 3 new projects. Golf development in Kunming continues to “boom” and Flagstick remains in the middle of the mix with the signing of 2 new projects in the area; Spring City Lakeshore Golf Resort will be a 36 hole Schmidt-Curley designed golf resort, and Kunming OCT features an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus signature course and another 18 hole championship course designed by Jack Nicklaus II. Both projects are situated east of Kunming City on Yanzonghai Lake and are scheduled to begin construction in the fall of 2009. Additionally, Flagstick has been awarded their first project in Sichuan Province, Chengdu. Wasting no time at all, construction has already commenced on the Chengdu Poly Xindu 18 hole championship golf course designed by golf architects Schmidt-Curley. FLAGSTICK GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF IT'S SECOND OFFICE IN CHINA.

As we continue to offer our golf course construction management services across the globe, we have now taken one more step to ensure our clients are receiving the utmost attention required to construct their golf courses both efficiently, and to the world class standard we all expect. To further assist with the continuous growing golf market throughout the Asian Region, Flagstick is proud to announce the opening of our new China office located in Kunming, Yunnan, China. The new office will provide Flagstick with greater administrative and logistic support for our ever-increasing portfolio of overseas projects. Flagstick is currently engaged with projects throughout the Asian Region including; China, Thailand and Vietnam.
